Arsenal managed to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League but were made to dig very deep to get a 1-0 win over London rivals West Ham United on Saturday.
Alexandre Lacazette scored the only goal of the game in the final 10 minutes. The strike was only possible this season, with VAR overruling the original offside decision given by the lineswoman to initially disallow the effort.
Coming back to the game, the Hammers had a number of opportunities to take the lead, with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen missing good chances in the final third.
At the other end, Arsenal had a very sombre first half, but came into it after the break and got the winning goal later on via their substitute striker.
It came when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s shot was deflected into the path of Mesut Ozil to head it towards Lacazette to score.
The lineswoman raised her flag for offside, but VAR overruled the decision and the goal was given.
The home side saw the game out well after that and somehow scraped through to vital three points.
Here’s how we rated the Gunners after the game…
