Arsenal fans want to see Gabriel Martinelli start against West Ham

Several Arsenal fans have called on the club to hand Gabriel Martinelli a starting berth against West Ham this weekend.

The 18-year old forward hasn’t played in the club’s previous two Premier League fixtures, remaining on the bench against Newcastle, while he was dropped from the squad entirely against Everton.

Since signing from Ituano in the summer, the Brazilian has been subject of much praise from Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal fan base alike, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently gave him the label of the “talent of the century“.

Now a number of Arsenal fans want to see the forward given another chance from a starting position, as he’s only started six times in 14 Premier League appearances this season.

With Alexandre Lacazette seemingly out of favour, a number of Arsenal fans took to social media to call on Arsenal to give 10-goal Martinelli a starting lineup role instead of fellow striker Eddie Nketiah.
