Arsenal fans want Guendouzi stay at the Emirates

Several Arsenal fans have expressed their desire to see Matteo Guendouzi remain at the club this summer.

Mail Online reported on Thursday that in order to fund Arsenal’s move for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu this summer, Mikel Arteta would be willing to ship out Mesut Ozil, Sokratis and Guendouzi.

The French midfielder has been in and out of the side since Arteta succeeded Unai Emery as Arsenal manager, with the 20-year old having been dropped from Arsenal’s match-day squad completely against Newcastle last month after Arteta had an issue with how the midfielder had been training.

Despite having made his return to the first team against Everton during Arsenal’s last Premier League game in late February, Arteta could now be set to let the highly-regarded midfielder leave in the summer, if Mail Online are to be believed.

Reacting to that possibility on social media, a number of Arsenal fans have called on the club to keep the midfielder, who has been a favourite among supporters, with many feeling that they would be making a huge mistake in letting him leave.
