Several Arsenal fans have praised the club after they made an announcement that they would help subsidise travel expenses for fans wishing to travel to the Manchester City away game next week.
It was announced earlier this week that the game against the Cityzens had been rescheduled, with the Premier League fixture now set to take place on Wednesday 11th, at 7:30pm.
Many Arsenal fans had expressed their frustrations with the decision, with the lack of notice having impacted fans, many of whom speculated that they wouldn’t be able to get work off on such short notice, while the time of kick-off would make it difficult for working fans to get back to London after the game.
However, Arsenal confirmed that due to the short notice of the announcement, as well as the lack of availability of public transport post-match, that they would offer discounted travel for supporters.
Taking to Twitter, a number of Arsenal fans praised the club for looking out for its fans.
