Several Arsenal fans are growing more and more excited to see William Saliba return to the Emirates in the summer, with the defender having impressed in France so far this season.
The 18-year old joined the Gunners from Saint-Etienne for around £27million in the summer, before rejoining the Ligue 1 club on a season-long loan.
Although the Frenchman’s season has been plagued by injury, having suffered both a lengthy hamstring issue and a metatarsal fracture since returning to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, Saliba has still managed to impress.
In fact, the France youth international played the duration of Saint-Etienne’s 2-1 French Cup win over Stade Rennais on Thursday, which saw his side progress to the final, and he put in a stylish performance in the process.
With Sokratis potentially on the move in the summer, Saliba could become a key player for the Gunners next season, and a number of fans have taken to social media to express their excitement for his return.
