Arsenal reignite interest in Fraser – should pursue a summer move

Arsenal, as well as Everton and Tottenham, are considering making a move to sign Bournemouth forward Ryan Fraser in the summer, according to 90min.

With the Gunners looking to strengthen in the summer, the London club should absolutely push to sign the Scotland international.

Despite having been a major player in Eddie Howe’s side this season, having only missed one game in the Premier League, the 26-year old has rebuffed the Cherries’ contract advances, and looks set to leave the club for free in the summer.

Fraser hasn’t been overly prolific this season, managing just one goal and four assists in the Premier League, but he finished last season with seven goals and 14 assists, indicating that he could thrive in a better team.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future is currently up in the air, and with the Gunners having limited options out wide, Fraser truly could be an ideal candidate in the summer.

Not only has Fraser shown that he has talent in the past, something that previously attracted Arsenal’s interest, but as a free agent, his arrival would also allow the club to spend their transfer budget elsewhere to further strengthen the squad.

At just 26, Fraser has plenty of time left at the top level. That, partnered with his minimal financial cost and his potential to succeed at the Emirates, means that the winger should be a no-brainer signing for Arteta.
