Several Arsenal fans have vented their frustrations after the Premier League announced the club’s rescheduled date for their clash against Manchester City.
The Gunners will now face the Cityzens at the Etihad on Wednesday, March 11, at 7:30pm, on the same evening that Liverpool are set to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
While some fans may have wished to watch the Champions League action, other supporters have been left frustrated by the time of the game, with many now expected to miss the match as it isn’t easy to travel back to London if they are working the following day.
Some fans have pointed the finger at the Premier League’s TV sponsorship deal, claiming that once again TV rights have taken precedence over the needs and wants of the paying fan, especially given the short notice of the announcement.
Taking to social media, a number of fans made their thoughts on the fixture rescheduling known.
