# Arsenal fans still left unconvinced by Ceballos

Several Arsenal fans are still not convinced by Dani Ceballos, despite a slight upturn in the loanee’s form.

The Spanish midfielder [joined the Gunners](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49117667) on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid in the summer, and while [fans initially took a liking](https://football-talk.co.uk/152234/baller-build-him-a-statue-some-arsenal-fans-react-to-ceballos-motm-display/) to the 23-year old, the midfielder’s [fortunes quickly turned sour](https://tbrfootball.com/arsenal-fans-slam-dani-ceballos-on-twitter-after-2-2-draw/) in London.

Originally, it [had looked unlikely](https://talksport.com/football/597938/arsenal-transfer-dani-ceballos-real-madrid/) that Arsenal would be able to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis once his temporary move comes to a close at the end of the season.

It was even reported that Ceballos was extremely [likely to return to the Santiago Bernabeu](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/real-madrid-block-dani-ceballos-21370708) in January, bringing his stay at the Emirates to a premature end, however, a turnaround in attitude and fitness condition under Mikel Arteta led to him [starting his first game since November](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/dani-ceballos-sends-message-arsenal-21512769) against Newcastle last month.

Despite Ceballos’ improved form though, a number of Arsenal have not been convinced by the Spanish international, taking to social media to express as such.
