Several Arsenal fans have reacted negatively to reported interest in John Stones, with 90min claiming that Mikel Arteta wants to bring the centre-back to the Emirates.
Manchester City are reportedly willing to let the England international leave the Etihad at the end of the season, with Pep Guardiola apparently unimpressed by the former Everton man.
Arteta, meanwhile, seemingly still rates the 25-year old, having worked with him at City and it looks like he could offer the England stat an escape route out of the Etihad.
Stones has been largely inconsistent since join Manchester City from Everton in 2016, and although he has shown flashes of brilliance, he has proven too often to be a liability.
As such, reports of Arsenal’s interest hasn’t gone down too well with a number of Gunners’ fans, with several taking to social media to express their thoughts on the transfer links and, well, it’s fair to say they aren’t too keen to see a deal go through.
