Arsenal are busy working on securing the long-term future of Bukayo Saka, a contract that many fans of the club feel the starlet “deserves”.
Saka has been a key player for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, filling in out of position at left-back and impressing for large portions of the campaign.
Having made his debut for the club last season, this current season has seen his breakthrough, and with just 18 months left on his contract, the Gunners are keen on tying the 18-year-old down to a new long-term deal.
Journalist Nicolo Schira claims that Arsenal are currently working on a new deal, with final details being put in place during negotiations over a contract that will run until 2025.
Taking to social media to react to the information, a number of Gooners have expressed their delight at Saka being handed a new contract, with several feeling that the young winger-cum-fullback is deserving of a pay rise.
