Arsenal have revealed that Kieran Tierney is set to return to training this week and many of the club’s fans are delighted to see him nearing a return to action.
The defender has barely made an impact at the Emirates since his move from Celtic last summer, with the Scotland international having been plagued by injury during his time with the Gunners.
The 22-year old last played for Arsenal in mid-December before suffering a shoulder injury, which has led to him missing the past 12 Premier League games for the club.
Ahead of Monday night’s FA Cup clash with Portsmouth, Arsenal revealed the expected return schedule of several injured first team stars on their website, with Tierney expected to return to training this week.
Taking to social media, a number of Arsenal fans expressed their delight at Arsenal’s update, with many pleased to hear that the Scotsman is almost ready to return to the fold.
