Arsenal were dumped out of the Europa League on Thursday evening by Olympiakos.
The Greek side managed to take the tie to extra time at the Emirates after Pape Abou Cisse’s goal in normal time separated the two sides.
Club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brought Arsenal level in the second half of extra time with a stunning bicycle kick, an effort which looked like it would take them through to the last 16.
However, Youssef El-Arabi poked the ball home with minutes remaining in front of the travelling supporters to spark wild scenes in the away end and break Arsenal hearts.
All attention for Mikel Arteta’s men will now be on the FA Cup and Premier League, as they attempt to book their place in European competition once again.
