Arsenal’s Bernd Leno was praised by several Gunners fans on Twitter after his performance against Everton on Sunday.
The German may have conceded two goals, but made a number of key saves that helped Arsenal secure a big win at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal won 3-2 thanks to goals from Eddie Nketiah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that gave the Gunners an important victory against Mikel Arteta’s old club.
Leno made three saves against the Toffees and picked up a 6.64 match rating on WhoScored.
He has made roughly 3.5 saves a game so far this season and has been given an average match rating of 6.86 rating by WhoScored.
The German had struggled to settle when he first joined the Gunners, and even admitted he had found it tough after moving to England with Arsenal.
Several Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise the German, despite the fact he conceded two goals against Everton in the win.
