Gary Neville compared one of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s goals against Everton to those that Thierry Henry used to score for the Gunners.
The striker scored twice against the Toffees to help the Gunners earn a big win, with Eddie Nketiah scoring the other goal for Arsenal.
Aubameyang scored a peach of a goal with his first just before half-time being praised by Sky Sports’ Gary Neville, as cited on social media by @afcstuff, who was on live commentary duty at the Emirates.
The striker coolly slotted past Jordan Pickford to give the Gunners the lead just before the break, before eventually scoring what turned out to be the winning goal in the 3-2 victory early in the second half.
The goal took Aubameyang’s tally to 19 goals in all competitions, thus continuing his impressive goalscoring campaign for the Gunners this season and helping new manager Mikel Arteta get a win against one of the sides who he used to play for.
The striker’s goal went down well with a lot of Arsenal fans, with some of them taking to Twitter to praise the forward’s finish and agree with Gary Neville’s description of the goal.
