Arsenal will hope to return to winning ways when they visit Stamford Bridge to face London rivals Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s men led for large parts of the game against Sheffield United, but conceded a late equaliser to draw another game.
They are currently 10th in the league table, 10 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who they face next.
Historically speaking, this hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for the Gunners, on which they have lost six of the last seven meetings with the Blues, drawing the other.
Arteta knows his team have to get over their recent blip in form and the historic bluntness at the Bridge to get a result.
In terms of team news, this will be Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second of the three-game ban he received after that red card challenge against Crystal Palace.
Other than that, Sokratis is a doubt due to illness and Sead Kolasinac is out for this game as well. That being said, here’s how we think Arteta’s side may line up on Tuesday night:
GK - Bernd Leno
He has been one of Arsenal’s best players this season and is set to be in goal against Chelsea.
RB - Ainsley Maitland-Niles
The youngster has done well at right-back in the absence of Hector Bellerin. He should continue to keep his place in the team.
CB - Shkodran Mustafi
With Sokratis still a doubt due to illness, Mustafi could start alongside David Luiz again. The German international did well against Sheffield United last time out.
CB - David Luiz
He has been the best defender at the club under Arteta. At this rate, he is probably one of the first names on the team sheet these days.
LB - Bukayo Saka
In the absence of other left-backs, Saka has been doing a good job at left-back. He has to continue playing there with Kolasinac and Tierney still sidelined.
CM - Granit Xhaka
The former club captain has done well in midfield under Arteta. He is now one of the first names on the teamsheet, which is a stark contrast to how Arsenal fans booed him off the pitch three months ago.
CM - Lucas Torreira
Torreira’s partnership with Xhaka in central midfield has been on the rise in the past month or so. He should be starting on Tuesday to further improve that partnership.
RW - Nicolas Pepe
Pepe has been one of the in-form players in the attacking third for the Gunners. He should be aiming to get the better of a fragile Chelsea defence on Tuesday night.
CAM - Mesut Ozil
By his recent high standards, Ozil had an ordinary game against the Blades. He should be looking to improve on that if he starts against Chelsea.
LW - Gabriel Martinelli
Martinelli did well in the absence of Aubameyang on the left-wing. He is probably someone who must start against Chelsea as his pace can cause a lot of problems to Frank Lampard’s team.
ST - Alexandre Lacazette
Lacazette has been working ever so hard for the team upfront. But, his goal drought is a concern for the Gunners. He’ll be looking to break that recent duck very soon.
