Leeds fans give mixed response to VAR being used in Arsenal clash

VAR will be used in Arsenal’s FA Cup third-round clash with Championship side Leeds United.

The Gunners host the high-flying Championship side on Monday evening and the Football Association confirmed that VAR will be in operation.

Arsenal fans have become used to having it during matches this season, but Leeds fans are not accustomed to it. They provided a mixed response. Some are dreading it…

READ ARSENAL VERDICT

VAR has taken centre stage in the Premier League for a majority of the season and it can have even more of an impact in the FA Cup because it is a knockout competition.

It’ll be interesting to see who ends up benefitting from VAR, especially in a big game.

Leeds would prefer to focus on promotion so Marcelo Bielsa could make multiple changes, handing Arsenal an advantage.
