Howe confirms no approaches made for Arsenal target Ake
Nathan Ake has been heavily linked with a move to a host of Premier League clubs in recent days.
The Dutch international has been a key man for Bournemouth in recent seasons after leaving Chelsea.
However, as reported on the Independent, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe confirmed that there have been no official approaches made for the centre-back yet.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all understood to be interested in a deal but when asked if there was any contact from the clubs, Howe said:
There is nothing to reply.
He is recovering well from his injury, we will see when he is back fit.

Howe’s admission is good and bad for Arsenal fans.
The good aspect is that none of their rivals have actually submitted any formal inquiries regarding Ake. But the bad news is that the Gunners themselves have also not made any progress.
Ake is a steady defender and has plenty of years ahead of him. It would be a decent signing for Mikel Arteta but he does tend to have injury problems.
