Arsenal may have made contact over a deal for in-demand Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, according to reports.
The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United and Tottenham in recent months, however, it appears as if the Gunners could have made the first move.
Numerous sides across Europe have made an enquiry for the French midfielder, who is valued at £50m by the Ligue 1 side.
@ltarsenal shared Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones’ claims regarding Arsenal’s reported contact, and it went down extremely well with these Gunners supporters.

Soumare looks certain to become one of Europe’s best holding midfielders over the coming years, however, a move to North London looks unlikely.
Although the Gunners may have made contact over a potential deal, they’d face plenty of competition and might only firm up their interest if they lose either Lucas Torreira or Granit Xhaka.
Rumours over Emirates exits for the pair have cooled in recent days, and if they stay at the club, we can’t see the club going after Soumare.
