Arsenal have enquired about a deal to sign Norwich City defender and Tottenham target Max Aarons.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal launched their own enquiry this week, with Everton, West Ham and Spurs all interested in signing the player.
While he looks unlikely to complete a switch to either of the aforementioned sides this month, it is claimed that he could be signed and potentially loaned back to Norwich for the remainder of the season.
Aarons played a vital role in Norwich’s title-winning Championship campaign and has been equally as impressive this season since making the step up to the Premier League.

Given Hector Bellerin’s injury problems this season, Arsenal have every right to consider signing a younger alternative.
Depth in the full-back positions, especially on the right has been a real issue for the Gunners recently.
While Bellerin has struggled with injuries in recent months, players like Ainsley Maitland-Niles have often had to fill in for him and the club need a long-term solution.
A fee in the region of £30 million is roughly the going rate for a young, highly-rated English defender and by bringing in a player of Aarons’ quality, the club have somebody that will continue to develop in the years to come.
