Tottenham and Juventus have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich.
According to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones, both sides have also made enquiries to sign the former World Cup winner.
Boateng has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days and looks poised for a move away from Bayern after falling out of favour there.
Arsenal are desperate for defensive reinforcement this month after a string of injuries at the back.

Boateng may no longer be at the peak of his powers, but when a player of his quality becomes available for a fairly modest fee – rumoured to be around £13 million – he won’t be short of suitors.
Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of Boateng and has previously tried to sign him at Manchester United, so it’s easy to see why Spurs would be interested.
They too have to start thinking about the future as they look to replace Jan Vertonghen, who is approaching the latter stage of his spell in London.
With the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld already at the club, regular game time may be more forthcoming for Boateng at Arsenal, while Juventus are also well-stocked with central defenders.
