Arsenal are keen to pip the likes of Juventus to the signing of Rangers man Glen Kamara, according to The Daily Mail, and could only need to spend £8 million on the Finland international.
The 23-year-old has impressed for Steven Gerrard’s side this season, and with the January transfer window open, clubs from across Europe are circling.
Kamara was previously on the books at Arsenal but left for first-team football in Scotland in 2017.
He has caught the eye after some excellent displays in midfield, with the Gunners now said to be keen on re-signing him.

Kamara is, as per the report, available for a meagre fee worth £8 million, which could pique the interest of Arsenal, who will look to strengthen their options this month.

Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi are good players who provide Mikel Arteta with a strong foundation in the middle of the park.
However, bolstering the depth beyond the aforementioned trio may not be a bad idea, and at £8 million, Kamara would be a decent, low-risk addition.
The 23-year-old would perhaps be more focused on pursuing first-team football elsewhere in the Premier League, so whether or not a place on the Gunners’ bench would appeal to him is unclear.
Nevertheless, it would be a solid bit of business for Arsenal as the rebuilding process with Arteta at the helm begins.
