Arsenal fans have been loving Sead Kolasinac after Mikel Arteta revealed that he was not due to play against Manchester United on Wednesday night.
The Gunners had been bracing themselves for a potential crisis at left-back with Kolasinac struggling and Bukayo Saka also not ready to start the game.
However, it was the Bosnian who filled in and speaking after the 2-0 win, Arteta expressed his delight at the role he played for the team.
I said to him, ‘thank you so much’, because we had Bukayo [Saka] who wasn’t feeling good. He wasn’t ready to play, Kola. He was expecting to start maybe against Leeds or after Leeds & he made an incredible effort.
After hearing the response from Arteta, these Arsenal fans on social media hailed their ‘Bosnian tank’.

This sums up the current mood around Arsenal perfectly since Arteta’s arrival.
In a just a couple of weeks, Arteta has already harnessed a great team spirit among his players. They’re willing to do everything they can to impress the new manager and you have to wonder whether or not that would’ve happened under Unai Emery.
If he can continue to harness such a togetherness among the squad, that will only help his cause as he continues his attempt to transform the Gunners and get the club back to its glory days.
