Arsenal have confirmed that Calum Chambers could miss as much as nine months of football.

This is a really cruel blow for Chambers and you can’t help but feel sorry for him.
Just when it looked like he had finally got his big break at Arsenal, he has been struck down by yet another setback.
Due to miss nearly a year’s worth of football, this will only raise yet more questions about his long-term Arsenal future, with the club now backed to sign a new central defender during the January transfer window.
With the potential for yet more additions over the summer, the Gunners backline could look very different by the time he returns to full fitness.
