Arsenal and Lyon are both said to be tracking Norwich centre-back Ben Godfrey closely ahead of the January transfer window.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal and Lyon are keen on a deal for the England under-21 international.
The report claims that they are watching him closely, following his impressive form for Norwich this season.

Godfrey is only 21, but has been a regular for Norwich throughout the current Premier League season at centre-back. He had started every single game before suffering a knee injury against Leicester two weeks ago, ruling him out until February.
With Godfrey currently injured, it could be wise for Arsenal to wait until the summer to make a move for him. If they signed him in January, they would still need to wait for him to regain fitness, which could take several weeks, perhaps even months.
Arsenal need to strengthen at the back as quickly as possible and are lacking in leadership. Whilst Godfrey has captained Norwich, showing his leadership skills, he lacks the experience to come in and make an instant impact on Mikel Arteta’s backline. A more established centre-back would be a better option for Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window.
