Hertha Berlin have been heavily tipped to sign Granit Xhaka in January.
The 27-year-old was ill on Sunday and missed Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, with reports claiming last week that the midfielder has already agreed terms with the Bundesliga side.

However, the latest Berlin transfer news will be leaving fans unsettled on the red side of North London.
French outlet L’Equipe, cited by GFFN, claim that Berlin have made an official loan offer for the Swiss star with a €30m option to buy.
The latest update quickly reached these Arsenal fans, who weren’t having any of the offer.

Mikel Arteta, who is yet to win a game as Gunners boss, is desperate for Xhaka to remain at the Emirates, and his presence was missed against the Blues.
Hopefully, the club will turn down the initial offer from Berlin and come February, Xhaka will still be at the Emirates.
The window isn’t even open yet and Xhaka’s future has been back and forth numerous times, so we feel as though there’s plenty more twists and turns over the next five weeks.
