Mikel Arteta has personally contacted Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot over a potential January move.
Recent reports have claimed that the Spaniard called the Frenchman before Christmas and shared his Emirates ideas over a possible transfer.

Rabiot has struggled to cement his place in Maurizio Sarri’s side, making 12 appearances in all competitions.
This has led to interest from the Gunners, who were reportedly keen on bringing the player to North London on loan.
The news of Arteta making contact with the 24-year-old over a possible transfer made its way onto social media on Monday, however, these fans weren’t impressed.

The holding midfielder would be a risky addition to the side, and the Gunners may only firm up their interest if they lose either Granit Xhaka or Lucas Torreira.
A deal could be worth keeping a close eye on over the next five weeks however, but there may need to be a possible departure first.
