Olivier Giroud would be open to re-joining Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea when the January window opens.
According to Ian McGarry of The Transfer Window Podcast, the Frenchman could be an option for the Gunners in the new year.
With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s long-term future looking increasingly likely to be away from the Emirates, Arsenal might be forced to add a new attacker to their ranks soon.
Giroud joined Chelsea back in January 2018 but has fallen out of favour under Frank Lampard this season, starting just two Premier League games.

It’s funny how these things work out, isn’t it? Giroud has barely featured for Chelsea this season and looks set to leave Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks.
With Aubameyang’s future up in the air, Giroud’s experience may not be a bad addition to Arteta’s squad.
However, he wouldn’t be a regular starter at the Emirates and that could result in more appealing offers from elsewhere.
Although a deal could work in Arsenal’s favour, the Frenchman is unlikely to cost that much and he has proven time and time again to be a reliable squad member.
If Arsenal need a ‘Plan B’, they know exactly what they’d be getting by bringing Giroud back to the club.
