Arsenal Fan TV were quick to bring plenty of reaction to the Gunners’ 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, and one talking point was on club-record signing Nicolas Pepe.
The 24-year-old replaced Reiss Nelson late on for the second straight game under Mikel Arteta.

Pepe failed to make any real impact in the closing stages, with Tammy Abraham’s 87th-minute strike completing the Blues’ dramatic comeback to claim the three points.
And following the game, one contributor on the channel was quick to question Arteta’s decision to leave the Ivorian out.
The topic also had these fans talking, who were quick to reply to the post on social media.

Twitter: @AFTVMedia @curtisshaw9 I don’t get it too. If you don’t give him enough playing time, you won’t get the best out of him. (@tubolarin)

Pepe’s absence from the starting line up during Arteta’s first two games in charge has been strange.
It’s clear that the Spaniard hasn’t liked what he has seen in training from the Ivorian so far, and it’ll be interesting to see whether or not he features against Manchester United on New Year’s Day.
