Arsenal players have leapt to the defence of German goalkeeper Bernd Leno following his costly mistake against Chelsea on Sunday.
Leno gifted Chelsea a controversial equaliser in the second half after misjudging a free-kick from Mason Mount.
After missing the cross, Jorginho, who many believed should’ve been sent off, was left free to tap the ball into an empty net.
Leno was visibly upset after the goal and these Arsenal fans love the support he has been getting on social media.

As one supporter pointed out, if there’s anybody in the squad who can really hold their head high this season, it’s Leno.
The German has been right up there as one of the club’s best performers this season, saving the club on countless occasions throughout the campaign.
While no one should ever be above criticism, it would be harsh to blame Leno too much for the Chelsea equaliser, especially when Jorginho could’ve seen red only a few moments prior.
