Arsenal suffered heartbreak against Chelsea on Sunday at the Emirates in Mikel Arteta’s first home game in charge.
The Gunners were leading with less than 10 minutes remaining thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s first-half effort.
However, following a Bernd Leno error and a late Tammy Abraham strike, Arteta and his side left with nothing.

One positive fans took from the game was Mesut Ozil’s display.
The German playmaker, who supporters praised against Bournemouth, started for the second consecutive game under Arteta before being replaced by Joe Willock for the final 15 minutes.
And following the fixture, Ozil took to Twitter to share this positive message to the Gunners faithful.
It went down extremely well with these supporters, who were quick to praise the player’s performance and attitude.

Arteta got the best we’ve seen out of Ozil in some time against Chelsea, and ultimately, he was only replaced due to fitness issues.
He looks set to become a key member of Arteta’s side should he remain in North London past the January window, and fans will be hoping that he can build on this display heading into the new year.
