A recent report from the Daily Mirror outlined just how much almost every Arsenal player earns each week.
The Gunners reportedly fork out just under £100m every year on player’s wages, however, with Mikel Arteta set to make major changes to his side, that figure could now change.
One player whose weekly wage caught the eye was summer signing David Luiz.
The 32-year-old, who started against Bournemouth in Arteta’s first game as manager, picks up just over £125,000-a-week.
Luiz is the fifth biggest earner in north London following his move from Chelsea in the summer, and when @DailyAFC shared the list on social media, these fans couldn’t believe it.

The Brazilian has struggled in a leaky Arsenal backline this season and has failed to make the desired impact Unai Emery was expecting.
Collecting £125,000-a-week, Arteta may well decide to move Luiz on in the summer, with the defence a key area in which the Spaniard seriously needs to address.
Luiz’s current Gunners contract expires in 2021, and if any side show an interest, we feel as if the club need to consider cutting ties with the experienced defedner.
