Arsenal fans hit out at Spurs’ Son following Chelsea red card

Plenty of Arsenal fans have hit out at Tottenham’s Heung-min Son following his red card on Sunday.

The 27-year-old was handed his marching orders by Anthony Taylor following a VAR check for a clash with Antonio Rudiger in the second half.

Spurs and Jose Mourinho fell to a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the final Premier League fixture of the weekend, but it was Son’s antics that was the main talking point.

@ltarsenal shared their views on the incident, which led to these Gunners supporters hitting out at the South Korean star.

Son has now been handed two Premier League red cards for violent conduct, which should be a concern to Mourinho.

He doesn’t really have much of a case for unfair dismissal either.

Kicking out at an opponent is an extremely dangerous game, especially with VAR now introduced, so if Spurs decide to appeal, we can’t see them getting their star man back over the festive period.
