Chelsea are ready to leapfrog London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to land Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.
That’s according to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, cited by the Daily Star, who claim that Frank Lampard has identified the Brazilian as a real January target.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the teenager in recent weeks, and their interest is once again mentioned in the recent report, along with Spurs, Manchester United and Wolves.
Vinicius hasn’t been used regularly by Zinedine Zidane, making just 14 appearances this season, scoring once.

The Brazilian would come at a large cost, so the Gunners could be better off letting Chelsea race ahead in the battle for his services.
Arseanl are in desperate need of defensive reinforcements and seem well-stocked in the attacking department, so a move for Vinicius may well be unnecessary.
He’ll more than likely go on to become a future star, but we feel as though it would be a silly move if Arsenal went and splashed the cash on the South American.
