Manchester City are reportedly unhappy with the way that Mikel Arteta’s move to Arsenal has come about.
The London Evening Standard now claims that the move could dampen any future dealings between the two clubs.
Despite it being one of the worst kept secrets in football, Arteta’s move to the Emirates hasn’t gone down well with the Premier League champions.
These Arsenal fans on social media have given the perfect response to claims that it could affect any future negotiations.

It’s hard to envisage who Arsenal might have been trying to sign from Manchester City in the near future, so this shouldn’t be too much of a worry to the Gunners.
If nothing else, it will strengthen their hand further if Manchester City try to come in for one of their own players going forward.
We’ve seen in recent years with the likes of Adebayor and Samir Nasri among others – not to mention their failed pursuit of Alexis Sanchez – that City are more than happy to try and poach a player or two from the Gunners, so that may no longer be the case following Arteta’s return.
