Mesut Ozil is closing in on completing a loan move to Fenerbahce.
That’s according to Turkish outlet Fotomac, cited by Sports Witness, who claim that Fenerbahce’s sporting director Damien Comolli was in London last week to conclude a deal which only now has a few minor details to finalise.
The Gunners are extremely keen on offloading the 31-year-old in the new year, with the player himself also having plenty of admiration for the Turkish giants.
As expected, the news quickly made its way across social media, and plenty of Arsenal fans were buzzing with the news.

Ozil was the latest member of the squad to feel the wrath from the Emirates faithful in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.
He reacted angrily to a chorus of boos from a section of supporters last week, and you wouldn’t expect him to play a key role in Mikel Arteta’s side.
It looks as if his time in north London is drawing to a close, and by the looks of it, he won’t be missed by many.
