Arsenal are set to miss out on defender Merih Demiral after Juventus decided that they will not sell the defender this January.
The Gunners and rivals Spurs were both linked with the Turkish defender, with Juventus slapping a €30 million price tag on him.

However, according to Calciomercato.com, Juventus are not ready to sell him, despite him only having three first-team appearances to his name so far this season.
Demiral has impressed a lot during his appearances so far for Juventus, and will seemingly be handed more opportunities going forward instead of being sold by the Italian giants.
Leicester and Spurs were also linked with Demiral, but it now looks like Arsenal, alongside their fellow Premier League sides, will miss out on the defender.

The Gunners need reinforcements in defence during January, but it now looks like Demiral is off the table.
It is disappointing, however, there are plenty more players out there that Arsenal could get during the January transfer window.
