Plenty of Arsenal fans think that Mikel Arteta will play a key role in Matteo Guendouzi’s development at the Emirates.
The 20-year-old has been a regular in the side since joining back in July 2018 and started the current campaign in fine form under Unai Emery.
However, the Frenchman has found it difficult in recent months and has come in for some criticism from a section of supporters.

Arteta looks like he’s going to be the man to permanently succeed Emery in north London, which allowed Arsenal fan @PatrickTimmons1 to ask his followers who they think will benefit most from the Spaniard’s arrival.
He staked his claim for club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, however, these supporters think that it’ll be the holding midfielder who will develop the most.

It’s easy to forget that Guendouzi is still just 20 years of age.
Yes, he’s been off the boil recently, but criticism aimed the youngster’s way has been fairly harsh.
Arteta has helped several City stars develop their game over the past few seasons, so the Frenchman will certainly improve his already impressive game under the 37-year-old’s guidance, which is an extremely exciting prospect.
