The Winners and Losers in Mikel Arteta’s likely Arsenal move

Arsenal appear to be edging closer to appointing Mikel Arteta as the club’s new manager.

The current Manchester City assistant held initial talks with chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and Arsenal’s lawyer Huss Fahmy on Sunday evening following the 3-0 defeat to the defending champions.

The 37-year-old then reportedly met with director Josh Kroenke on Monday evening ahead of becoming the club’s new boss. 

So, with the Spaniard seemingly set to become Unai Emery’s long-term successor, we’ve decided to take a look at the ‘winners and losers’ from the proposed appointment.
