AFTV regular ‘Troopz’ has shared his concern over Mikel Arteta’s likely Arsenal appointment, and his comments haven’t gone down too well with supporters.
The 37-year-old looks set to become Unai Emery’s long-term successor at the Emirates after club officials met up with the former midfielder following Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

AFTV pair Robbie and Troopz discussed Arteta’s possible North London return online, with the latter claiming the Gunners could now be in ‘big, big trouble’.

Of course, bringing in someone with no senior managerial experience is a risk, especially in Arsenal’s current situation.
However, Arteta is very highly-rated by many respected bosses in the game, so the gamble could prove to be one that pays off.
He ticks the box in the well-known footballing phrase ‘he knows the club’, and after learning the ropes under Guardiola in recent years, seems ready to take the plunge into management.
Troopz’s comments regarding the Spaniard are fairly harsh, but if the former midfielder gets off to a poor start in North London, it won’t take long for the pressure to rise.
