Plenty of Arsenal fans have earmarked Manchester City winger Leroy Sane as Mikel Arteta’s first signing as Gunners boss.
The 37-year-old appears to be close to becoming Unai Emery’s long-term successor at the Emirates following talks on Sunday and Monday with Arsenal officials.
The Spaniard was in the dugout alongside Pep Guardiola in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Freddie Ljungberg’s side, however, he could be leading the Gunners against Everton this weekend.
So, with Arteta seemingly closing in on becoming Emery’s permanent replacement, many fans took to social media urging him to bring the German winger with him.

Sane and Arteta reportedly have a sound relationship, with the latter helping the 23-year-old improve his game in the final third in recent years.
The wide man has missed the last four months of action after suffering an ACL injury in the Community Shield win against Liverpool, however, he has recently returned to the training pitch.
A move for the City star could be tricky, though, with Bayern Munich thought to be real admirers.
It would be an unbelievable move if Arteta could pull it off, but we think it’s one that, unfortunately, won’t materialise.
