Bernd Leno has been a rare positive in what has been a difficult season for Arsenal so far.
The Germany international has not been without his faults, but he has kept the Gunners in a host of games already with some fine stops.
In fact, statistics have emerged to reveal that he is among the busiest goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Leno has made a total of 73 saves in top-flight fixtures in the 2019/20 season so far, which is comprehensively more than Newcastle United’s Martin Dubravka, who is second in the chart with 64 to his name.

Read Arsenal’s verdict
Leno has been excellent for the Gunners this term and deserves more credit from those outside of the club.

But for a number of exceptional reflex saves, Arsenal could have been in an ever more precarious position than they currently are.
The club need to strengthen the back-line in the January transfer window and help Leno out.
Arsenal should be contending for the top four this season, and defensive showings that leak as many shots on goal as they already have done will only hold them back.
