Napoli have reportedly made an opening bid for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.
The Serie A giants have offered the Gunners a package totalling £25m which would see the 23-year-old spend 18 months on loan with Gennaro Gattuso’s side before completing a permanent move in 2021.
It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal will entertain the initial bid, however, after @ZRAFC shared the news, many Gunners supporters were hoping to see Kalidou Koulibaly head to the Emirates as part of a possible deal.

Koulibaly has been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent months with Napoli in a similar off-field crisis to Arsenal.
The towering defender would certainly improve the Gunners’ backline, however, would the 28-year-old be keen on a possible Emirates switch?
He’s been one of the best central defenders in Europe over the past three years and if he could go on to have half the influence as Virgil van Dijk has had at Liverpool, it would be a great piece of business.
If they could somehow bring the Senegal international to North London like some fans are hoping for, then that would definitely soften the blow of losing Torreira.
