Arsenal fans buzzing over prospect of Martinelli working under Arteta

Arsenal fans have shared their excitement at the prospect of seeing Gabriel Martinelli turn out under potential new boss Mikel Arteta.

The 18-year-old, who made the move to the Emirates in a deal worth £6.5m over the summer, has scored eight times already this season, establishing himself as one of the club’s top performers.

Martinelli’s exciting displays in the cup have earnt him starts in the Premier League under interim boss Freddie Ljungberg.

Arteta has been tipped to become Unai Emery’s long-term successor in what would be his first senior managerial role.

@bhavss14 shared an image of Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United with the caption ‘Martinelli under Mikel Arteta.’

The post received plenty of interaction, and these fans were also buzzing with the possibility of the forward turning out under the former Arsenal midfielder.
