Arsenal defender Calum Chambers came in for plenty of criticism from fans for his performance in the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
The 24-year-old failed to stop Gabriel Jesus in the early stages, with his cross allowing Kevin de Bruyne to open the scoring after just two minutes.
The Belgian went on to run the show in North London, setting up Raheem Sterling and adding another of his own as Pep Guardiola’s side coasted to victory at the Emirates.
However, it was Chambers’ display that had many Gunners supporters talking, unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.
Twitter: Chambers is shocking. He got relegated twice and we starting him in 2019 (@OsmanZtheGooner)
Twitter: What’s the point in putting Chambers in CB, the bloke is worse than Mustafi in that position (@eyedee5)
Twitter: Chambers and Sokratis need to be sold in the summer (@LacaMotion_)
Twitter: Should just get rid of Sokratis, Kolasinac, Mustafi, Luiz and Chambers right away (@MainManNiles)
Twitter: Chambers!!!! This goal is your fault

It’s becoming a tradition seeing defenders at the heart of the Arsenal defence appearing to have no idea what they’re doing and Chambers was the latest player to add his name to that list.
The former Southampton man struggled alongside Sokratis and Freddie Ljungberg is now running out of new options to try at the back.
Supporters will be hoping that his display was just a one-off, as, on the whole, Chambers has been one of the best of a bad bunch at the back in recent months.
