Nicolas Pepe will be assessed before Arsenal make a decision on his availability for the game against Manchester City.
Football.london report that the player will be checked before the match after suffering a bruised knee against West Ham.
Pepe was not risked during the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Standard Liege on Thursday night, despite impressing against Manuel Pellegrini’s side previously.

It would come as a major blow to Pepe if he were to miss the game against the Premier League champions.
While he still has some way to go to reach his best at Arsenal, the performance against West Ham was very promising and it gave supporters an insight into what he could potentially do at his best.

He scored a very well-taken goal to put the Gunners in front and looked confident on the ball during the second half as Arsenal secured a vital away victory.
Pepe will no doubt be hoping to build on that against Pep Guardiola’s side and missing the game will only continue to halt his consistency as a Premier League player.
Angelino, should he start for City, has not always looked completely comfortable as part of Guardiola’s side and it could be an area that Pepe gets a lot of joy from on Sunday.
