Arsenal are without a permanent manager after sacking Unai Emery last month, with Freddie Ljungberg currently in charge as caretaker.
READ ARSENAL VERDICT

Benitez kept Newcastle in the Premier League for two straight seasons after being promoted from the Championship as champions in the 2016/17 season, building his side around solid defensive displays. With Arsenal’s frailties at the back, Benitez could have been the perfect man to improve the volume of goals conceded. However, he may not have been able to play the style of football Arsenal fans have grown accustomed to over the past 20 years.
With Benitez ruling himself out of the running, Arsenal will now need to look elsewhere for a potential permanent manager. Although, the club could go down the route of giving Freddie Ljungberg the job – if he can turn Arsenal’s fortunes around in the coming games.
