Arsenal and Manchester United target Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that he will be returning to the dugout next summer.
The former Juventus boss has been tipped to take over at both the Emirates and Old Trafford in recent months, with speculation growing following Unai Emery’s dismissal.

However, the Italian has now played down any chance of returning to management midseason.
Talking to ESPN, cited by reliable reporter Fabrizio Romano, Allegri said:
I’ll be back on next June. I won’t join any club before next season. But yes, I am taking English lessons here in Milan.
The news quickly made its way to several Arsenal fans, who weren’t too pleased.

Allegri was one of the favourites to replace Emery, however, if he is to make the move to North London, the Gunners will now have to play the waiting game.
That could be a risky call, especially after the woeful display against Brighton on Thursday.
Freddie Ljungberg may be handed the reins until the end of the season, but he’ll need to make drastic changes over the next six months if the club are to finish in a respectable position.
