Real Madrid have held talks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s representatives about a possible transfer, according to a report from journalist Duncan Castles.
According to Castles’ reporting, Real Madrid would be willing to include Luka Jovic as a makeweight in any potential deal for the Gabonese striker.
Aubameyang’s form has been one of few bright spots for the Gunners in what has been a pretty disappointing season for the club as a whole so far. The striker has continued to score goals this year, following on from last season where he shared the league’s Golden Boot with Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

It’s tough to see the Arsenal board accepting offers for Aubameyang in January, but if he doesn’t sign a new contract soon, then speculation about his future will continue over the next few weeks and months.
If Arsenal do decide to let Aubameyang go, Jovic as a makeweight in any deal could be a smart move by the Gunners.
