Mohamed Elneny is currently out on loan with Turkish giants Besiktas, however, the 27-year-old could end up making a permanent switch to Spain.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, cited by Football Espana, who claim that Real Betis are showing a real interest in the 27-year-old.

Elneny has made 46 Premier League appearances for the Gunners since completing a move from Basel back in 2016 and Arsenal now reportedly value the player in the region of €10m (£8.5m).

@ZR_7G1 shared Betis’ interest on social media, which left these Arsenal fans extremely excited.

Some supporters were evening hoping for a swap deal involving Nabil Fekir or Sergio Canales.

After receiving a red card on his Besiktas debut, Elneny has gone on to become a key member for his new side, helping them to third in Turkey’s Supr Lig after 13 rounds.

A permanent switch away from the Emirates looks extremely likely, but calls for the Gunners to move for either Fekir or Canales as part of a possible deal are ambitious.

The pair have been in fine form in La Liga this season, so if Arsenal are to move for either midfielder, they would probably have to offer Elneny and a substantial fee.
