# Arsenal fans want Nketiah recalled in time for Leeds clash

Arsenal fans are hoping to see Eddie Nketiah play a starring role in the FA Cup tie between themselves and Leeds United.

Not in the white of Leeds however, these fans have joked on social media that the striker could come back to haunt the Championship side in the new year.

Nketiah has struggled to break into Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, despite impressing off the bench.

This has prompted talk of an early January return for the striker and these fans want to see him return and take revenge on his current club.

It looks unlikely that Nketiah will be allowed to feature against his parent club in the FA Cup as things stand.

However, there has been talk that the striker could be recalled in January if his game time at Elland Road does not improve.

Should that happen, it would open up the opportunity for him to either stay and fight for his place at the Emirates or even head back out on loan to another Championship club.

The latter seems like the more viable option, but how sweet would it be for Nketiah to come back to the Gunners and score against Bielsa’s side after the poor treatment he has received there.
